Luisa Barros, PhD, Full Professor

 

Short biography:

I am a Full Professor of Clinical and Health Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Lisbon. I have a PhD in Clinical Psychology and an Aggregation Title in Health Psychology. I coordinate the Master in Child Psychopathology – Prevention and Intervention and the PhD Program in Psychology. I am a member of the Adaptation Processes in Context Group of the Research Center for Psychological Science and of the Scientific Committee of the PhD in Nursing, University of Lisbon. I am part of the ProChild CoLab: Against Poverty and Social Exclusion. My main research interests focus on the relation between parenting processes and young children development and health. I lecture in the domains of Health Psychology, Pediatric Psychology, Children and Adolescent Psychopathology, at the Faculty of Psychology.
